Bangor Y Health & Fitness
The Bangor Y offers a large selection of group exercise classes for those ages 14 years and up! Choose from land-based or aquatic classes, cardiac rehab, adapted fitness, even martial arts. Maybe you need a little more help? Make an appointment with one of our personal trainers available for kids and adults. We have a fully-equipped general workout room, a private training workout room, three exercise studios, two pools and a cardiac rehab center. See schedule for days and times. Registrants get priority but members may drop into programs if space is available. Adult memberships include Unlimited Group Exercise Classes!

Biking is a great form of cardiovascular exercise! Ride with a group, listen to upbeat, motivating music in this instructor led class. Our Lemond bikes provide a smooth, quiet ride. Anyone at any fitness level can take class, just adjust the tension to your needs! There is no confusing choreography to learn so give a class a try today. If paying by the class you must come in to the Y to pay for the class and you can do so up to one day ahead of time. Members, call in to reserve your class slot up to one day before the class. If you are new to cycling, please arrive 15 minutes early for class so the instructor can help you set up your bike. Members: Included in Membership Non-members: $8.00 per class or $40 for a five ride punch pass
Personal Exercise Programs (PEP)
Work with our Fitness Staff to develop an exercise program that meets your goals and needs. We will take you through the program, be available for questions whenever necessary and follow up to "tune-up" your program in approximately 4-6 weeks. Contact Kevin Dunton, Asst. Personal Training
Whatever your fitness level, you will greatly benefit from working with a Personal Trainer. We take great pride in the professionalism of our Personal Training Staff. Our trainers hold ACE, ACSM, NSCA, AFAA, and YWCA personal training certifications. Many have four year degrees in the exercise field as well. We have affordable packages and flexible scheduling. Call Kevin Dunton, Assistant Fitness Director at 941-2815 for more info. Ask about our 2 member personal training sessions. Members $25/hr or 5 hrs for $115 Non-members $30/hr or 5 hrs for $135.
