Bangor Y DirectionsThe Bangor Y Second Street and Hammond Street locations are only two blocks apart and easily accessible from one another by a three minute walk. From Second Street, cross Union Street and walk up High Street to the interesection with Hammond Street. Turn right on Hammond. The Hammond Street facility is just on your left.
To Bangor Y Second Street location
From South of Bangor
Take I-95 North to Union Street, Exit 184. At end of the exit turn right onto Union Street. Continue straight through two lights. Three blocks from the second light is Second Street. The facility is on the corner of Union and Second Streets.
From North of Bangor
Take 1-95 South, Union Street, Exit 184. Turn left at the end of exit onto Union Street. Continue straight through three lights. Second Street is three blocks on right after the third light. Bangor Y is on corner of Union an Second Streets.
To Bangor Y Hammond Street location
From South of Bangor
Take Route 95 North to Hammond Street exit (previously 46). Turn right at the top of the exit onto Hammond Street. Follow straight through two traffic lights (about 2 miles). The Bangor Y is immediately on the left hand side at 127 Hammond St. The parking entrance is just before the brick building.
From North of Bangor
Take Route 95 South to exit 184 (Union Street, Rte. 222). Turn left at the top of the exit. Follow to the third traffic light (about 1 mile) and turn left onto Hammond Street. Go straight through the next traffic light. The Bangor Y is immediately on the left hand side at 127 Hammond St. The parking entrance is just before the brick building.
