Team Apparel
Barracuda swimmers and family members are encouraged to wear Barracuda apparel with pride to show their team spirit. In stock team apparel items are available at the Concessions Stand during all Home Meets and are available periodically during practices. Eric Palmer Head Coach
Coach's Bio As Head Coach of the Barracuda Swim Team, Eric joined the team in the Fall of 2007 as a third generation swimmer and coach and a former Barracuda swimmer. Coming to the Bangor Y's competitive swimming program with stellar recommendations, he picked up where his predecessors left off leading the team to successful 2007-2008 winter and summer seasons, helping steer them in a positive direction needed to achieve their personal and team goals. As both a former Barracuda swimmer and a UMaine alumni swimmer, Eric knows first hand that swimming can last a lifetime and hopes to share his love of swimming by motivating young Barracudas to follow the same lifelong path. By cultivating a fun, upbeat environment for the team, sharing his swimming experience through his enthusiastic personality, and teaching skills swimmers can apply both in and out of the pool throughout their lifetime, he hopes to see the excitement of being part of the Barracuda Swim Team continue to grow.
