Camper favorites include swimming in our large in-ground pool, playing at our playground, arts and crafts, nature exploration, sports and field games, plus group activities based on our theme weeks. Several weeks also include exciting field trips. Campers are separated by age and rotated through planned activities throughout the day. They'll bring home arts-n-crafts, prizes, maybe a camper-of-the-week award and plenty of stories about their day. Check out our NEW poolside pavilion! New bathrooms, 17 individual changing rooms, 18+shaded picnic tables and water fountains are some highlights. Also new for 2009 is our interactive arcade. Campers will enjoy our 'arcade' during their free time or activity period. All games are free and will range from air hockey, pool, foosball, checkers, bubble hockey, and real arcade games.

Camp Webber is just 7 miles from downtown Bangor, 2.5 miles from the center of Hampden or 3 miles from the center of Hermon for convenient drop-off or pick-up at camp. We also bus kids to and from the Downeast School and to and from the Y at Hammond St. to Camp each day. If you drop off at the Y on Hammond St please use our ultra-convenient Drive-Thru Drop-Off at the playground gate. It only takes a second and you don't even have to get out of your car so you can get to work on time. You may drop off at camp beginning at 7:30 am and campers must be picked up at camp by 4:00 pm.  Campers may be picked up at the Bangor Y on Hammond Street between 4:30 and 5:30pm.

Convenient hours meet most schedules. Camp runs from 6:30am to 5:30pm. If your work hours are earlier or later you may drop off beginning at 6:30am at the Bangor Y on Hammond St. Pick up as late as 6:00pm if you have registered for late pick-up with a $10 fee.

Sometimes mornings may be too hectic to make a lunch. Continued from last year are optional nutritious lunches for campers. Lunches may be purchased on Fridays only for $5.

Leader-in-Training Program- Campers entering Grade 8-10

Cost $180 per 2 week session beginning the week of June 29, 2009.

Our LIT program is restructured to meet the changing needs of today's teens who want fun a experience as a camper and while learning what it takes to be staff. During the first week of the session, LIT's will be under the guidance of their leader learning skills that they will put into action during the following week. LIT's will lead group activities, operate the camp store, learn safety techniques, and work with their leader to meet the goals for the two-week session. LIT's will plan a field trip with their leader and participate in other LIT only activities.  The LIT experience is invaluable as they progress from teens to young adults. This is a great opportunity for teens to develop special skills and experience fun activities, while learning about the state of Maine. Limited to 12 LIT's each session.
