CAMP EMERSON Steve and Susan parents of 10 yr old camper Our son enjoyed the archery range and ropes course at Camp Emerson. I was very impressed with the improvements made to Camp Emerson, mainly the ropes course and playground. Our son had fun at camp and we have no regrets about sending him there. It was safe, well staffed and we will send him back this summer. Especially for the sleep over weeks! Jolene parent of 11 and 12 yr old campers My children will be back at Camp Emerson this summer. My son loved the sports field and going out to the riflery and archery ranges. They both got a lot of use out of the pool. On those hot days while I was at work, it was comforting to know the kids were staying cool. My children both improved their social skills as a direct result of being in camp with a diversified group of campers. I think the ropes courses, which she enjoyed a great deal, helped her develop these skills. Her imagination and creativity grew, which could be the result of arts and crafts everyday. She and her sister will definitely be back at Camp Peirce Webber and Camp Emerson this summer. Tom parent of 9 yr old camper My son's experience at camp was all-positive. He could be a professional camper. Swimming, sports and rocketry were three of his favorite activities. The camp premises are extremely safe. Every time I came to pick Max up, someone was right there to greet and acknowledge me, it was comforting. Early drop-off is extremely positive. The early morning drive/thru made my transition from the Y to work easy. The drop-off was quick and easy and definitely saved me valuable minutes in the morning. I also wanted to take this opportunity to compliment you on the professional and accommodating staff of counselors at the camp. My heart swelled at the smile on my son's face the day one counselor told him how happy everyone was to have him be a part of the camp. It is most difficult as a parent to entrust your child's safety and happiness to anyone else on a daily basis. I appreciate the sensitivity, diligence, and responsibility demonstrated by you and your staff in the care of my son. While it has been a summer of difficult transitions for my five year old, it has ultimately been a summer of meaningful lessons, personal growth, and FUN, little of which would have been accomplished without the support, concern, and open communication we have received from Camp Webber.
