WHAT YOU CAN DO VOLUNTEER We would love a little bit of your time... Before the Camping Season Rebuilding steps to a small cabin Other cabin repairs (floor, roof, etc) Old bridge on hiking trail needs repair Create new hiking paths/trails Demolish old sheds/platforms Paint Rake Cleaning inside of buildings Picking up trash Dispose of old docks/styrofoam Help put the newer docks into Chemo Pond During the Camping Season Come play a game with a camper Make posters/signs Help in one of our program areas (art, sports, boating often needs adult volunteers) Share a special skill (drumming, yoga, gymnastics, cheering, etc.) Help out in the kitchen (Friday lunches or sleepover nights/mornings) Camp out (sleepover volunteers are helpful!) Spend time in a camper group (what a relief to be an extra hand/set of eyes for counselors) Write thank you notes/cards Office help If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out our online volunteer application and email to ehatch@bangory.org or drop off at 17 Second Street in Bangor for Erin. Lawnmower Weedwacker Washing machine/dryer Kayaks, paddles, kayak gear Materials and/or labor for new picnic tables Materials and/or labor for benches (simple/campy) Art supplies (egg crates, newspaper, balloons, flour, actual art supplies, scrap booking..) Sturdy basketball hoop/backboard Materials and/or labor for large sandbox area for play Materials and/or labor for concrete slab for 4 square/hopscotch Flowers/pots/other gardening materials Prizes (fun stickers, washed stuffed animals, jewelry, etc, used in good condition) CAMP MOLLY COMMITTEE Let your voice be heard! This committee meets monthly to discuss, brainstorm, and share ways we believe camp can improve. There are still meetings to attend before the 2008 camping season.
