The Voice of Camp Molly Parents, Staff, CITs, & Campers speak out Camp Molly Committee responds to Survey Suggestions What you said: Porta-potties, hand washing sinks, and changing rooms need to be addressed! What we are doing: Thanks to Stanley and Marie MacMillan, we have a brand new Camp Molly bathhouse, which will consist of 5 toilets on both the girls and boys sides, 8 individual changing stalls, hand washing sinks, and cubbies! We are so appreciative and can never express how grateful we are for this new addition to camp! Thanks to parents and campers who politely and appropriately voiced concerns and supported us to get to this point! A bathhouse, yay! What you said: You wanted a drive thru drop off option or 10 minute parent parking spots What we are doing: Again, summer 2008 parents will be able to drive thru drop off in the Sanford Street parking lot at the Second Street Y between 7-7:50am for Camp Molly Molasses. What you said: You wish there were more than 3 sleepovers What we are doing: This summer we will be hosting 4 sleepovers at Camp Molly during weeks 4 (July 10-11), 6 (July 24-25), 8 (August 7-8), and 10 (August 21-22) for campers to take part in. What you said: Campers want permission to buy more than 1 item at the camp store each day. What we are doing: With the addition of more healthy snacks and smaller suggestions this will be possible! What you said: You want kids' choice back! What we are doing: You got it! We will be fundraising this spring in hopes to buy a basketball hoop, and perhaps some other fun choices for this time. We have scheduled a choice time into your daily rotation. You don't have to wait until the end of the summer to voice your opinion! Any suggestions should be emailed to ehatch@bangory.org.
