Camp Webber, at our 55 acre site in Hampden on the Souadabscook Stream, provides an exciting traditional day camp experience with structured programs geared toward social interaction, physical activity, creative learning and stimulation in a safe, fun environment.

Camper favorites include swimming in our large in-ground pool, playing at our playground, arts and crafts, nature exploration, archery, rocketry, sports, low ropes course, fishing in the stream and field games, plus group activities based on our theme weeks. Campers are separated by age and rotated through planned activities throughout the day. They'll bring home arts-n-crafts, prizes, maybe a camper-of-the-week award and plenty of stories about their day. Campers love to hang out in our poolside pavilion.  Our pavilion has 17 individual changing rooms, bathrooms, 18+shaded picnic tables and water fountains. Campers can also enjoy some inside activities if the weather doesn't cooperate like ping pong, board games, team building games, and theater style movie time.

New This Year
A few new things this year at CPW have been added to make the camping experience more exciting for everyone.  We have added an additional unit and more staff to accommodate more campers while still maintaining a safe and fun environment.  We are also adding a 200+' zip line.  More games, supplies, and experienced staff will make 2011 a year to remember.

Camp Webber is just 7 miles from downtown Bangor, 2.5 miles from the center of Hampden or 3 miles from the center of Hermon for convenient drop-off or pick-up at camp. We also bus kids to and from the Downeast School and to and from the Y at Hammond St. to Camp each day. If you drop off at the Y on Hammond St please use our ultra-convenient Drive-Thru Drop-Off. It only takes a second and you don't even have to get out of your car so you can get to work on time. You may drop off at camp beginning at 7:15 am and campers must be picked up at camp by 4:00 pm or campers may be picked up at the Bangor Y on Hammond Street between 4:30 and 5:30pm.

Convenient hours meet most schedules. Camp runs from 6:30am to 5:30pm. If your work hours are earlier or later you may drop off beginning at 6:30am at the Bangor Y on Hammond St. Pick up as late as 6:00pm if you have registered for late pick-up with a $10 fee.

Overnights are a camper favorite. This year there are 3 overnights. Campers may bring a tent or sleep in our lodge. Each overnight has its own theme. Overnights usually include a movie, dinner, evening swim, camp fire, story telling, snacks and more! All overnights include a dinner, drinks, special desserts, snacks, breakfast the next day and special evening activities including swimming. Overnights have limited spots available and are $35 for members for each overnight, or $40 for non-members.

Sometimes mornings may be too hectic to make a lunch. Once again this year we will offer nutritious lunches five days a week!  Lunches may be purchased daily for $5 and will include a sandwich of the campers choosing, fruit, bag of chips, and a gatorade or juice.
