Aquatic Group Exercise
Put a splash into your fitness routine. We offer more than 25 water fitness classes in the pool. If you prefer the therapeutic warm water of the Means Pool or the cooling water of the Aloupis Pool, we have a class to meet your needs at our Second Street aquatic facilities.

Aqua Aerobics
A shallow end workout that includes cardio combinations to strengthen the heart plus resistance exercises utilizing dumbbells, noodles, and more to tone and strengthen muscles. This is a moderate to high intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed 5:30-6:30 pm
Aqua Circuit
A deep water and transitional depth workout of moderate to high intensity utilizing fins, kickboards, and other training equipment. Strength and toning are achieved through interval and circuit training.
Times: Tues/Thurs 6:00-7:00am
Aqua Yoga
A shallow end 40-minute workout that combines the therapeutic and buoyant nature of water with the energizing and harmonizing effect of yoga. Slow stretching with breathing and relaxation while water provides support for the body and resistance for the muscles to work against. Prior yoga experience is not needed to enjoy this class' benefit...Relax...Relieve...Renew... This is a low to moderate intensity workout.
Times: Tues/Thurs 8:20-9:00 am
Deep Water Workout
Taught with the aid of a flotation belt, which is provided. Deep water jogging will strengthen your heart and muscles using underwater resistance. This is a moderate to high intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed/Fri 6:00-7:00 am, Mon/Wed/Fri 8:30-9:30 am, Mon/Wed 5:30-6:30 pm
Hi-Lo H 2 0
Great combo of shallow and deep-water exercises to get the heart pumping, strengthen muscles and increase range of motion. This is a moderate to high intensity workout.
Times: Tues/Thurs 12:00 -1:00pm and Tues/Thurs 5:45-6:45 pm
Joint Ventures
A good choice for members with arthritis, fibromyalgia or other neuromuscular complications. Uses the deep and shallow ends of the pool but those who prefer to stay deep or stay exclusively in the shallow end may do so. Focus is on daily mobility, improving flexibility, increasing strength and managing pain. This is a low to moderate intensity workout.
Times: Tue/Thu 11:00am-12:00pm
Senior Aqua Fitness
Designed for older adults. Great music and great people add to the fun. Low impact in the shallow end. The warm water provides comfort and support, plus eases joint pain and makes exercising for longer periods of time more bearable, a terrific way to begin your day. This is a low to moderate intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed/Fri 7:15-8:00 am
Therapeutic Aqua Jog
Held in the deep end of the pool for those with joint, muscular or neuromuscular complications. Warm water and no impact feels great for individuals looking for a lighter workout or those with injuries or muscular conditions that limit your abilities. Deep water skiing, running and strengthening exercises help improve mobility and flexibility. This is a low to moderate intensity workout.
Times: Mon/Wed/Fri 8:00-9:00 am
