Fundraising Opportunities
Ways to raise money for Camp Jordan Scholarships, and your tuition specifically
Summer camp is a major financial commitment for all families. We want to give campers every opportunity to raise some or all of their tuition. Scholarships are still available, but preference will be given to campers who have demonstrated effort in the fundraising process. These fundraising opportunities are available for campers participating in any Camp Jordan Program, Traditional Camp, Leaders School, AEC, Adventure Bound Trips, LIT & CIT.
November 5, 2011 Polar Plunge & Pancake Breakfast The Polar Plunge was a huge success, enabling some campers to raise most of their tuition! It was a fun day of food, cold water, campfires, and zip line rides. Plan on collecting pledges to plunge next fall!
Calendar Sales
This year we will be creating calendar for campers to sell to family and friends. The calendars will be high quality, and feature 18 different pictures of Camp Jordan. Calendars will be sold for $12, of that $10 goes directly to your camper's tuition. Contact the Camp Jordan Registrar, Maria Robshaw at mrobshaw@bangory.org or 207-941-2808 to get a start-up packet with a pledge sheet, sample calendar, and step-by-step direction.
When you are ready, please send in your Camp Jordan Calendar pledge sheet(s) to the address provided in your start-up packet and within 20 days, you will receive your shipment of calendars for you to deliver.
Dear Friend Letters
Would you like to ask your grandparents, parents' friends, aunts and uncles to help you go to camp next summer? Do you ask yourself "where do I start?", or put it off because it will take too long to draft each letter? This year Camp Jordan will provide kids with letter templates to make letters easy to write and send to friends and family who may wish to help them to financially get to camp. Check back soon to find the letter templates. Different templates will be provided for Camp Jordan and Leaders School, and for campers who have been to camp, and those who have never attended before. These are .doc documents so campers can personalize them on the computer, or print them off and personalize by hand.

Youth Programs
