The Bangor YMCA’s Interact Leaders Club is co-sponsored by the Bangor Area Breakfast Rotary and the United Way of Eastern Maine. The Club provides an opportunity for young people in grades 9-12 to develop the leadership and team-building skills needed to make a positive impact in our Greater Bangor Community and beyond. With a focus on community service, the Interact Leaders Club has coordinated events in recent years to raise nearly $7,500 in support of the Cancer Care Center, Africare, the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America, and Water.Org. In addition, club members volunteer more than 2,500 hours each year in support of local organizations including Ronald McDonald House, Eastern Maine Medical Center, Bangor Humane Society, and many more.

The Interact Leaders Club meets during the school year. Grades 9 through 12 meet Tuesdays every week at 6pm at the Bangor YMCA. It is advised by Eric Taylor & Adriana Hopkins.
