Erin’s Run is changing their 5k route this year! The race will begin and end on the Bangor Waterfront as usual, but instead of doing the usual double loop, this year’s course will cross Main Street and travel up towards the James F. Doughty School. It will then loop back to Buck Street, through the Cross Center parking lot, and back to the Waterfront. It will be a single 5K loop. The free Kids 1K will still be held entirely on the Waterfront.
Erin’s Run/Walk is an annual 5k Road Race held in honor of Erin Woolley and in support of Partners for Peace, a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving people affected by domestic abuse. Erin’s Run also benefits the University of Maine Swimming and Diving Team, a Bangor High School scholarship fund and the Bangor Region YMCA.
