Robin Long Caring Connections Manager

Robin has a background in women’s health, mental health, and nutrition.  She joined the Caring Connections staff in 1996 when the program first began. Over the years Robin has enjoyed helping to shape the direction of the program, particularly creating new projects and finding resources for unmet needs.

In 2004, she received the Maine Breast Health Leadership Award and was the recipient of the 2005 Mabel Wadsworth Woman Power award. In 2014 she became a Certified Patient Navigator through the Maine Primary Care Association.

Beyond her incredible project development skills, Robin is extraordinarily kind and compassionate. Working with women at all levels of their health journey, many in late stages of breast cancer, Robin creates an incredibly therapeutic and comfortable environment for everyone involved.

Robin is married, lives in Brewer, and has several children with fur and feathers. She enjoys biking, kayaking, and gardening.
